Gui Gui High Bun Hairstyle

1.Start off with clean hair that isn’t greasy. It’s always important to keep this in mind as it might ruined the hairstyle's look. Wash your hair if it is dirty and blow dry in sections in a low or medium setting because we do not want to expose too much heat onto your hair.

2.Brush through your hair maiking sure there are no knots in your hair or your fingers will get caught when you are making a bun. It doesn’t really matter if your hair is wavy, curly or straight beacuae we are going to put it in a bun anyway. But since we are trying to copy Gui Gui’s hairstyle, you can straighten it. Just make sure you keep your hair safe from the heat by using heat protection products.
3.Using a hairbrush, separate your fringe/bands away from the rest of your hair and sweep them to right side.

4.Grab all of your hair and carefully make it into a high, neat ponytail and secure tightly with an elastic hairband. Once you have the ponytail ready, here is a way to make the bun: Twist the tail either in two sections or one (For people who have longer, thicker hair may want to separate the tail into 2 pieces). Guide the twist into a coil around the elastic band. For people with longer, thicker hair, bobby-pin the coil into place as you wind it around and around the hairband. People with shorter, thinner hair can often get away with winding and twisting the coil first and then inserting bobby pins about 45 degrees apart from each other (think of your bun as a circle).

5.Now carefully using the end of your hairbrush or just simply your fingers, carefully pull out a few strands of hair out from the bun you have just created. This will create the cute and messy look.

6.Spray with hairspray to hold the look (optional) FINISHED!

NOTE: Adding a Blue Raglan Tee and a Multicolored bead necklace will make it the perfect Gui Gui finishing touch!
